Featured Artist: J.M. Giordano

We are pleased to feature the photography of Baltimorean J.M. Giordano in our Spring issue:

"I began taking pictures as a kid (I'm 34 now) to understand the world around me and the way that I fit into it. After a five-year hiatus in Europe, I felt the need to pick up the camera again after September 11th because people's perception of the world they live in has changed. I have very little scholastic training in photography, but I am by no means an amateur. I am currently working on my first book, Stainless: A Legacy in Steel, which was also the subject of my first solo show. I'm also the co-founder of Gutter Magazine (www.guttermagazine.com) and, as an artist, am repped by Gallery IMperato."—J.M. Giordano
